Bentley Baptist Church has a commitment to mission, both in a cross-cultural context and in the local community.  We see Mission as an outworking of the instructions of Jesus in Matt 28:19-20 to make disciples of all nations.

We are seeking to provide financial support in specific areas of mission, and are working closely with the Karen Baptist Fellowship to explore ways we can develop mission projects amongst the Karen people. In 2008-09 we raised $25,000 which was used to support training programmes for refugees. We are continuing to explore ways to assist Karen people living in refugee camps in the Thai-Burma border.

Two of our members, Tim and Trudy James, have recently returned from serving the people of Cambodia through the organisation Awareness Cambodia. Follow the links above and on the right to find out more.

We share our facilities with Fusion Western Australia, a Christian youth and community organisation ministering to socially at risk young people.  Fusion operates in 20 teams and centres around Australia, and has branches in 14 other countries.  More information about Fusion can be found here:

We have recently started supporting Darryl and Joy Grieg, of Ebenezer Mozambique, where local people receive training in life-skills through apprenticeship programs.

The latest newsletter from the Grieg family is available here: July 2018 Newsletter
