Church begins at 9:30am every Sunday. We spend about 45 minutes singing, praying, sharing stories and looking into God’s word, the Bible. We have a group of talented young musicians, and we aim to include a range of songs — traditional hymns, contemporary music and even our own original compositions in our worship.

Then we have a sermon, based in scripture and aimed at helping us to see the love and work of God in our everyday lives. During the sermon, primary school-aged children can leave the service to do activities with the “Dragonflies” group.

We finish our services at about 10:45 am with fellowship and morning tea. We normally celebrate communion on the first Sunday of each month, and all are welcome to join in.

We often have a brief informal time in the service when those in the congregation can greet each other and visitors to the Church can meet people within the fellowship. So when you visit Bentley Baptist, expect to be greeted!
